Geocaching is today's favorite scavenger hunt! This outdoor adventure takes
you out of your
neighborhood to explore the rest of your community,
your county, or even your state!
Small objects, often including a log book and pen or pencil, are
hidden in
containers or "caches" around towns, cities and
outdoor
areas which
geocachers use handheld GPS units
to locate. The challenge
often lies in driving,
walking, hiking, or climbing to actually
reach the
cache.
